MARIE BARONIN v. MAYDELL

Before founding MAYDELL FamilyLaw, Marie von Maydell was head of the family law department as a partner in the corporate and tax law firm MEYER-KÖRING in Bonn and Berlin for many years. Her particular expertise therefore includes mandates with economic implications. She represents wealthy private individuals as well as entrepreneurs, board members, managing directors, self-employed persons, and personalities from the fields of business, politics, culture, and sports in Germany and abroad.

Born and raised in Frankfurt am Main, Marie von Maydell studied at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, the Université de Lausanne in Switzerland, and the Humboldt-Universität Berlin. During her studies, she gained international experience in Los Angeles, CA (USA), Tallinn (Estonia), Brussels (Belgium) and Paris (France). She completed her legal clerkship in the district of the Berlin Court of Appeal and the Higher Regional Court of Celle. She was admitted to the bar in 2001. She has been a specialist lawyer for family law since 2010.

Marie von Maydell is married, mother of three adult children and lives in Bonn. In addition to her passion for family law, she is an enthusiastic sailor and enjoys stand-up paddling on the river Rhine.
